SEAPORT REGULATIONS OF DANANG

Chapter 1
GENERAL PROVISIONS   

Article 1. Scope of Application

    1. The Seaport Regulations shall regulate maritime activities at the Seaports in the Da Nang City
(here in after referred to as the Seaports for short) pursuant to the Decree No. 71/2006/ND-CP dated 25 July 2006 promulgated by the Government regulating the management of seaports and maritime channels (here in after referred to as “the Decree No. 71/2006/ND-CP”), the Decision No. 09/2007/QD-BGTVT of 23 February 2007 by the Minister of the Ministry of Transport publicizing Seaport waters in Da Nang, Quang Nam Province and areas under management of the Maritime Administration of Da Nang (here in after referred to as “ Decision No. 09/2007/QD-BGTVT”), Circular No. 10/2007/TT-BGTVT of 6 August 2007 by the Ministry of Transport guiding the implementation of the Decree No. 71/2006/ND-CP (here in after referred to as “ Circular No. 10/2007/TT-BGTVT”).

Article 2. Subjects Applications
    The Regulations shall apply for organizations, individuals, domestic and foreign ships operating in the Seaport.

Article 3. The state management administrations in the Seaports
    1. The agencies functioning state management of maritime activities in the Seaport shall be the Maritime Administration of Da Nang, specifically:

    2. Maritime Administration of Da Nang and office of the Maritime Administration of Da Nang in Ky Ha as per item 1 this Article here in after referred to as the Maritime Administration.
